    I have the great honor of traveling down some very difficult and very enlightening roads with some of the most courageous individuals I have ever met.  The work of counseling is a privilege and my call to service. I welcome the opportunity to support those looking for a deeper understanding of themselves and how they fit into this wild and miraculous world


    Collaboration is key to an effective counseling experience.  I don’t see myself as the expert on you - YOU are the expert on you.  I have not lived your life and I do not have your experiences, so I am not here to tell you how you “should” be doing things.  I am here as your partner on a journey towards deeper self-awareness, self-acceptance, and empowerment. I might serve as a guide, offer perspective, support, and education along the way, but the progress you experience will be due to your courage to put one foot in front of the other along the path. 

    I incorporate an intuitive and integrated approach to therapy by utilizing a variety of orientations and interventions based on a client's individual needs. I enjoy working with a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, relationship/family concerns, self-esteem/self-empowerment, grief and loss, and creating more meaning and purpose in one's life.




    Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is a mental health treatment that can be thought of as a physiologically based therapy that helps a person see upsetting experiences in a new and less disturbing way.  Distressing life events can overwhelm a person's ability to cope and have a lasting negative effect on mental, emotional, and physical health.  EMDR therapy facilitates change in the meaning of painful events and the cause of presenting symptoms and issues. Clients conclude EMDR therapy feeling transformed and empowered by the very experiences that once brought them pain.


    While we all have problems, not all of us approach the solution in the same way.  It is important to find a treatment approach that fits your unique needs.  I regularly integrate mindfulness based treatments into my practice.  Meditation, body-awareness, focused breathing, and guided imagery are just a few techniques incorporated into sessions.  Concepts from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution Focused Therapy (SFBT) are also interwoven throughout treatment.

    I am happy to offer sessions remotely through online video conferencing.  If you plan on utilizing insurance benefits, please contact your insurance provider to find out if your plan covers Teletherapy.  My private pay rate is $150/hr.

    Scheduling and Rates

    New clients are encouraged to call or email to set up a time for an initial session.  

    All appointments are scheduled through Therapy Appointment.

    I am an in-network provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield and Health Choice.


    Clients have the option for self-pay.  The self-pay rate is $150/hr.  

    A billing statement can be provided for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement as an out of network provider.  You will need to contact your insurance company directly about this option.

    24 hour notice is required for cancelling sessions. If you cancel with less than 24 hour notice, you will be charged the full amount for the missed session.
